The power of generational differences
In this session, a Positive psychologist will delve into the dynamic changes in today's workforces, highlighting the opportunities in the modern workplace.
Outline
Multi-generational workforces, where as many as five generations are working together, are now the new norm.
While there are exciting growth opportunities that come from generational diversity, there is often an unhelpful focus on generational stereotypes. This can unintentionally create an 'us versus them' mindset, which is counterproductive considering that age-diverse teams show greater levels of innovation and enhanced performance.
In this talk, we explore some interesting differences that do exist across generations and uncover how these are in fact overshadowed by a myriad of commonalities. This shines a light on the common conditions that will enable all generations to flourish and collaborate more effectively.
