Dr. Brian Marien is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, bringing a powerful fusion of medical expertise, psychology and neuroscience to help organisations enhance resilience, motivation and high performance at scale.
As Co-Founder of Positive Group, Brian has spent over a decade working with senior executives, leadership teams, and global organisations – including Google, Microsoft, KPMG, Shell, HSF, Clifford Chance, JP Morgan, IBM and the BBC – delivering evidence-based strategies to build psychological agility and unlock human potential in the face of complexity and change.
With a background in medicine and a Master’s in Health Psychology, Brian wrote his thesis on the causes and consequences of stress and burnout. He has since pioneered preventative, science-backed approaches to leadership development, drawing on the latest insights from cognitive, behavioural and social psychology to help leaders and teams thrive under pressure.
Brian has led transformative programmes for thousands of senior leaders and he is currently taking 400 partners from a top-tier global law firm through a cutting-edge neuroscience and psychology-based programme. His expertise lies in equipping C-suite executives with the tools to foster adaptive leadership, psychological safety, and high-performance cultures in an era of relentless change.
