About the programme

Transitioning from school to university and then from university to the workplace can be challenging and present many obstacles to success. As with any transition, adapting to a new environment with new people, routines, responsibilities and expectations can be stressful.

This is why Positive is partnering with CWMT, the University of Oxford and the University of Reading to develop and deliver the Wise Minds programme to students in the 2016/17 academic year. The programme provides students with evidenced cognitive and behavioural tools and techniques to manage pressure and build psychological resilience. The programme’s aim is to support students as they transition from school to university, manage the pressures of university life, and develop the skills required to thrive in today’s workplace.

The vision

Following the evaluation of our work with Oxford and Reading University, Positive and the CWMT will make the programme available to other universities in 2017. If you would like to be informed on the programme, please do get in contact.
